Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac near the Curdies River on the western end of the Great Ocean Rd, Newfield Holiday House is a wheelchair friendly house that easily accommodates two families. With an enclosed verandah, surrounding garden, toys, games and table-tennis, it is an ideal house for children. The extensive library and record collection provide activities for adults too.
Two large kitchen/dining/sitting rooms encompass most of the downstairs area and enable guests to spread out and enjoy different activities.
A bread-maker, air-fryer, rice-cooker BBQ, pod coffee machine and baking implements are provided as well as a second fridge in the garage.
Downstairs Bedrooms: Two queen rooms and a single room.
Upstairs Bedrooms: : a dormitory with 4 single beds, a cot and a queen bed - spare mattresses in the cupboard.
Enjoy swimming, snorkelling, surfing & boarding, river, rock & surf fishing, beach rambles & cliff-top walks, tennis, golf and the extensive bird-life.
Drive short distances to the famous 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and other sites on the historic shipwreck coastline.

Summary: A great spot in Peterborough, very quiet and friendly neighborhood and within range of all the scenic spots and Great Ocean Road drive.The house was very spacious, well maintained, with all the facilities and utensils for our stay.We loved the retro LP vinyl player and a range of books and entertainment media to settle down to after a long day exploring and a warm meal in the well stocked kitchen.Check-in and check-out was easy.Julie was a great host, very responsive with really clear communications and helpful. I'd definitely book Julie's place again.
